Residential Treatment Programs

Residential treatment programs are one of the most effective methods of achieving long-term recovery from addiction. Southwest Counseling Service provides several residential treatment programs.

Women’s Addiction Program (Woman and Children’s Program)

Residential treatment for women with minor children and pregnant women. Allows clients to continue parenting while receiving treatment. Includes daycare and case management support.

Requirements: Assessment with a residential referral.
Open Access: Mon–Thurs, 12–4 PM at the College Drive location.

Therapeutic Community

Residential treatment for adults with addiction and mental health needs. Includes intensive case management, clinical services, and daily group therapy. Average stay is 4–6 months depending on individual needs.

Bridges Program

Psychosocial rehabilitation program offering both inpatient and outpatient services for individuals diagnosed with SPMI (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness).

Common Diagnoses Served: Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, severe depression.

Access: Ask about Bridges during Open Access.
Open Access: Mon–Thurs, 12–4 PM at the College Drive location.

Social Detox

Short-term program for individuals currently using opioids or alcohol who need a safe setting for detox while beginning treatment.

Crisis Stabilization

Short-term program for individuals experiencing severe mental health symptoms. Focus on stabilization through psychiatric support and coping skill development.

If you or a loved one is struggling with this, please contact the admissions case manager.

If someone is court-ordered, their representative (attorney, DFS, probation, etc.) must contact the admissions case manager.

Walk-in appointments are available Monday through Thursdays starting from 12pm to 4pm at the College Hill Facility.
