Evaluation & Assessments

This is the first step and recommendations will follow for services for Individual, Group, Case Management or a combination of services. SCS clinician will make recommendations and work with you in developing your treatment plan and goals to accomplish.

Mental Health

Southwest Counseling Services offers Mental Health Services to individuals of all ages and life stages. We can help with everything from daily stressors, to interventions for individuals, couples, or families experiencing ongoing challenges.

Substance Use Disorders

Many times people don’t recognize the power of alcohol or drugs in their lives until they are confronted by a concerned friend or family member, or until they get into trouble with school, work, or the law because of their use. Recovery means to return to health and is a process of going from using to sobriety and a healthier lifestyle.

Children, Adolescent & Family Services

SCS provides a variety of services for children, adolescents, and families. Mental Health is important for the overall health of children and adolescents and important to address issues such as depression, anxiety, attentive deficit and feeling of being different.

Psychosocial

The Southwest Counseling Service Bridges Program provides daily services for adults who have a serious mental illness such as bipolar disorder, severe major depression, and/or schizophrenia. The purpose of the Bridges Program is to assist individuals in crossing the bridges of life and to strongly promote that recovery is possible.

Psychiatric

SCS Psychiatric Services are provided in conjunction with SCS treatment services. SCS has telepsych providers.

Prevention

Southwest Counseling Service administers the Community Prevention Grant, the Community Prevention Grant provides funds for prevention specialists in the community to implement prevention strategies.

Medical

Southwest Counseling Service offers the availability of the Nurse Practitioner to see individuals of SCS as well as members of the community. Southwest Counseling Service’s Medical Services are established as a Family Practice.
