OUR SERVICES

Mental Health

Southwest Counseling Services offers Mental Health Services to individuals of all ages and life stages. We can help with everything from daily stressors, to interventions for individuals, couples, or families experiencing ongoing challenges.

Case management is a coordinated effort between the client, clinician, and case manager to help find additional resources in the community for our clients. Our case managers and/or clinicians work directly with clients to provide them additional help and support that benefits their treatment.

We offer various types of therapy that are tailored to meet your unique needs. Our professional staff understands that different issues require different treatments, and they work with you to design a personalized treatment program. Our treatment options range from individual, couple, family, to group therapy.

At Southwest Counseling Service, our Psychiatric Staff considers psychiatric medication to be a crucial component in treating and managing mental illness, along with psychotherapy and patient feedback. We closely monitor the effectiveness of psychiatric medication and keep a close eye on any potential side effects. Our Psychiatric Staff adheres to best practice guidelines set forth by the American Psychiatric Association and the American Nurses Association.

Are you enrolled in an EAP? It’s possible that your employer offers an Employee Assistance Program without your knowledge. If you’re uncertain whether your employer provides covered services within an EAP, please contact your Human Resources department. Additionally, SCS may be able to help you identify if your EAP is in-network and if your services are covered.

Southwest Counseling’s Prevention program offers a variety of services to help our community. We work with a coalition to bring about a community level change with substance use and suicide prevention.

A crisis can happen at any time of the day. Southwest Counseling Service provides emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Contact our on-call clinician by calling (307) 352-6680.

“The therapist was very understanding, insightful, and relatable. Pretty amazing that after one session some things I had struggled with for years I had a clearer understanding of. The experience has been enlightening so far, and I look forward to healing. I am thankful for what I have received already. Clearly they are leaders in their field, and care about helping others.”
